I’m an old veteran that’s coming back to the game and wanted to roll a Thief.

What is the most viable build for Thief that consists of a sword?
S/P? S/D?

I’m more of a pvp person, which do you think works better?

I find pistol’s No. 5 skill to be very good for staying alive, so I use S/P.

You should try both sets and see which one works better for you. S/P has black powder and interrupt, which are nice but overall your main dmg comes from PW and you’d have use your teleports to land PW. S/D has more mobility and I’d say it allows a more varied playstyle than S/P.

I did map completion in 1 week using thief. Sword/Pistol everything, with superior sigil of fire. For armor, full soldier+ pack runes, and ruby trinkets
