The change in the acrobatics line is absolutely horrible…
Firstly let me say that the only build i can think of that would heavily invest in healing power is a venom share build, meaning that the increase in Assassin’s reward will not only be noticable in 1% of thiefs but the can’t even be used with venom share bc of the already heavy investment in traits.

Venom share requires 30points just to get, and another 30points to optimize. With this change venom share builds would have to neglect deadly arts just to have enough points to invest in Assassin’s reward losing 20% CD on venoms and 1 extra strike on venoms.

1k Healing Power Deadly Arts vs Acrobatics.
Assuming they are equipped with 5 venoms including the new heal, thiefs can trigger 20 venoms every 36 seconds.
Healing from leeching venoms alone, you can cast a venom 1.66 times a min, with 20strikes at 500hp each for a total of 16.6khp a min.
Without points invested in deadly arts, you only heal 10khp a min.
Assassin’s reward heals about 135hp a hit, and at 1 initiative/sec would heal for a total of 8.1k

So investing into assassin’s reward would mean a 1.5khp/min increase in your own regen for a loss of 6.6khp to the rest of your party, and this is not including the 800hp you’d lose from 1 less hit from skelk venom.

All this for a completely useless trait. Honestly if you made it a 5point trait in the acrobatics line, i would completely avoid the line, randomly telported in a 600 radius when we are one of the squishiest classes, without a stunbreaker… You’re kidding right? There’s plenty of ground targeted skills that are almost instant death, coupled with a stun, i forgot our job was giving free kills.

Anyways TLDR
Buff to assassin’s reward only affects healing power which is only used by venom share builds, which is at a loss for using it. All other builds would see no benefit in the buff but would have to invest an additional 10points to trait it, making it alot harder to get without severely hurting your build.
Hard to catch, is a piece of trash and should be removed. Hell just change it to a stunbreaker and make everyone happy.

Change hard to catch to break stun and refill endurance so it might be close to on par with mirror of anguish(new 60s CD), reapers defense(new 60s CD), or tempest defense (new 25s CD).

Change hard to catch to break stun and refill endurance so it might be close to on par with mirror of anguish(new 60s CD), reapers defense(new 60s CD), or tempest defense (new 25s CD).

I can agree with this. I would slot that in a heartbeat.

I’m glad that my 69 health per initiative is now 85. It’s quite noticeable when you’re at low health, especially when escaping and clearing conditions with infiltrator’s return. (Although slow with the new &$@%# cast time)

Assassin’s Reward is so gonna get nerfed. I think this is a mistake.

I was abusing this last night and yeah, it’s gonna get nerfed.
