Title says it all.

I put this together out of my love for dual pistols. Build is not as powerful as some others, but I find it very fun to play. This is a solo build; crit heavy intended to do as much damage as possible while maintaining survivability and minimizing initiative downtime.

I went 2/6/0/0/6.

I found that using invigorating precision coupled with Ricochet, I was getting a higher return to my health then when using assassins reward. The lower health/armor in my own build is mitigated in part by every shot a crit with fury running thus garnering that return using Invigorating precision. Fury uptime with pack runes and the steal fury is high.

With invigorating precision even my Auto Attacks add health and with them hitting around 1200+ thats 120 health per second which not all that bad. Ghost kicks in on a 1 second cooldown and it another 325 health. A ricochet goes off and that another 60 health.

The Vulnerability from sundering strikes is also a significant boost to damage output as every unload will lay down around 4 stacks. While short lasting they do add up after a couple of unloads. Mug might also be an option here that I am considering.

I tried SOM as the heal but found overall I was getting more out of Withdraw and withdraw had the added boon of those condition removals and that gap opener. I will switch up to SOM on occassion and in particular if inside a tower or keep over the open field where Withdraw is used more often.

Withdraw can be used every 15 seconds for around 4400 heal. 6 unloads can be done in around that time at around 800 heal per unload discounting ricochet. The edge in healing would go to SOM but it just not enough and when your INI spent it is very hard to get a heal source.

I went for a larger upfront damage rather then rely on Sigil of Strength by using a stacking sigil which in WvW gives me a power of around 2500. With the bonuses based on INI from both the trickery line and the critical strikes line and that high crit rate that first unload hits hard and can rapidly put the enemy on the defensive.

I found that with Shadowstep I simply did not have enough condition cleanse so used purity/generosity. Damage is not lacking in the build and an unload can remove two conditions every ten seconds. Agility can be used in a pinch though I have rarely needed to do so. Initially I went with a blood sigil one each weapon set for even more heal but on a 5 second cooldown, i found it more efficient to keep damaging conditions off me then try and heal through them.

The build is vulnerable to burst damage. Backstab thieves are the biggest enemy so one has to keep moving.
