So, if stealth is not a op mechanism that can be countered just learning to play, so why dont make all invisible for thieves (and mesmers too) when they stealth? i mean, if a thief (or mesmer) stealt him/her self, also at the same time all their surronding enemies (including pets, summons, clons, etc) become invisible for him/her too aswell while he or she reamain in stealth mode.

If Anet do this, then all the nerf to the thieves can be reverted, even so, they can rip off the revealed debuff aswell. I think all the thieve must be agree with this change. This way we can show to all the QQ players how to figth against a invisible enemy.

Ya, and when Guardians use Aegis it should give it to all his enemies nearby. And when a Ranger uses cripple it should also cripple the Ranger. And when a Necro uses fear it should fear the Necro as well

etc.

I think we should do stealth the way stealth is done in almost all other mmo’s. Thief enters stealth and stays in stealth indefinitely until he attacks, is attacked, or performs an un-clandestine action. If a skill gives a thief limited time of cloaking, the thief cannot be removed from stealth unless he attacks and after cloaking period, stealth behaves normally. Also thieves now have a 600 range sapping skill (15 sec stun PvP, 60 sec stun PvE and WvW), which can only be used from stealth. We should just do this and stop this more op-version of GW2 stealth.
Better yet, my suggestion for fixing stealth is to do it the DnD way with different states of stealth such as cloaked and concealed.

edit: this is a sarcastic hyperbole offering a counter-argument to the claim GW2 stealth is overpowered.

i agree with you OP
but if mesmer dodge, thief should get an clone attacking the mesmer also
if guardian heal on dodge , everybody attacking guardian should get healed as well
when warrior have full adrenaline all enemy’s in area should receive 360 hp every 3 seconds / 12 % damage / 9 % critical chance
Since we share stealth , why not share everything ?

Would be funny on pve…
When the thief stealths to do his BS, someone from the group need to be on voice chat with him to tell where to aim… “Left!! No, back a bit to the right! Oh he moved, left again! The other left!!!”
Every 3 seconds…

Might give us some ranger dog pet to help us get to targets.

Oh oh I know even better ! Lets import WoW Rogue with all his skills and utilities! Taking into account that there is no pvp deffence ( aka resilence) in gw2 and hp limit is between 10-30 k we thieves would 2 hit allmost anyone ! Oh and for best part – vanish that gives complete invulnurability for few seconds to complete that stomp ! Ambush Eviscerate, Ambush Eviscerate !

good point. but i can see whawt somebody would coutner it with :P we get those silly lil caltrops that last like 1.5 or 2 seconds and are super tiny on dodge…..i personally dont run it as it rarely is usefull :p….and it always gives your position away while invis so its a drawback IMO

If we could all play nice for a moment, we could have the team of necros perform this sacred ritual… then the 200 Moas can all hit 5 to recreate the migration of penguins!
