with the signet being at ~12 seconds recharge and the cool down on the Superior runes of Altruism being 10, would taking these Runes and your signet be worth it?

3 stacks of might for 11.5 sec
Fury for 5.75 sec
on a 12 sec CD
for the entire party

For a dagger/dagger Crit damage build would this be worth it? Or should you just stick with runes of divinity?

I do use Altruism, but not all of the runes. Just for kicks, I add two Strength runes and two Fire runes. I also trait for might on dodge, might on stealth, full Acrobatics and Bowl of Orrian Truffle and Meat Stew. If I feel like it, I also trait Signets of Power.

Dodge a few times (6 stacks), stealth once (2 stacks), hit Signet of Agility (5 stacks), dodge a few times (6 stacks), stealth again (2 stacks), pop Signet of Malice (8 stacks).

Yep, I’m clever like that.

Anything that relies on using your healing skill is terrible, you end up using your heal when you don’t need it and killing yourself.

The only way it would be good, is if it gave you what you need added to the skill.

10 seconds of Regeneration.
5 seconds of Protection.

Now you get something added to what you use the heal skill for, survival.

That all depends on the situation you’re using it in. You can get by just fine with having your heal down most of the time in PvE, for instance, especially if you’re spamming it every time it comes up. This sounds more like a PvE support idea anyways. That said, unless you’re using a bunch of signet synergy you’re probably better off just using Withdraw for heal spamming. 3s more CD than even traited SoM, instant activation, and arguably a better active unless you’ve got a lot of signet traits, especially since you won’t be benefiting from the SoM passive at all.

Good point Tulisin.

And yes this is for PvE. Its not even that I want to use the runes as support. This would be a way to maintain fury with the thief in PvE that seems strong but I could be wayoff base.

Thats why I thought I would ask what other thieves thought about it.
