That build is nice for P/P but I’d change your secondary weapon set. Ranged weps require target for aa so when a thief stealths/is downed in stealth, you are left with cluster bomb/poison. P/P is already initiative hungry and cluster bomb spam will just deplete your resources even more.
Heals – I personally think withdraw beats SoM in pvp. While the potentional heals with SoM can be really high, you get healed only when hitting enemy and that’s sometimes just not possible. I found SoM useful only in a zerg, anywhere else I slot withdraw.
I find the only benefit to SoM is might stacking on signet burst builds, and even then it’s debatable. The healing is low and the activation too long while yielding no condition removal/stealth escapes.
Withdraw and HiS are certainly the best heals.

Try D/D and SB for SoM. Choking Gas and Caltrops can proc Signet of Malice, and both can do it without pull you out of stealth. D/D is there mostly because Death Blossom can give you 3 procs fast, the other reasons being CnD and Backstab.

Whenever i play P/P I feel like #2 and #4 should be the same ability somehow, and that there should be an additional ability to help the set stand out. Dunno if that makes any sense. I really like the feel but it feels kind of weird with 3 utilities of which 2 feel very samey.
That’s from the perspective of somebody that only plays around for fun on a thief alt though.
I haven’t felt the urge to use Pistol #2 so far… ^^ On mesmer i got GS #3, which is equally useless, but it’s cooldown-based, so i can squeeze it in when i have the time, but when i have to manage initiative…not so much.

SoM is much better on P/P and S/P than shortbow and D/D. Death blossom is a terrible proc (the above two sets are more efficient on the initiative on their multi-hits and yield more healing and better damage/results), and the results with the shortbow subsequently are only effective when hitting multiple targets. HiS is a free condi cleanse + burst heal + regen + stealth + fight reset and Withdraw is a nice evade and removes mobilty-hindering effects.
Pistol 2 is a good engaging skill. 5 stacks of vuln and brief immobilize is nice, as it can be used to forcibly proc trait-based condi removal skills early when used with the autoattack and will bolster the rest of your outgoing damage for other essential skills like shadow shot/unload.
