Any current P/D videos or guides of any sort?
I was bored of my Warrior, weird right? Anywho I was going through weapon combos, And I thought P/D might be fun, but I don’t see alot of discussion on this build. Are there people who still play this kind of thief in this day and age, and if so where can I find a post/video about it. Any help is appreciated. If not I’ll still play it. Looks more fun than any D/X or S/X combos I’ve seen a 100 times already.
I tend to play P/D over any other build (PvP and WvWvW), and have attempted many combinations from direct damage to hybrid to straight condition.
I could attempt post up a current guide or video, although you can look at some previous notable P/D Thieves like Madnek, Laela Blackbird, Yishis (now Engineer), Wild Bill, or all the way back to Khalif.
I will do my best to answer any questions, here or in game, if you want to send me a whisper.
we all began as something else
I am interested in WvW than PvP. Domination game modes don’t appeal to me as much as open world combat. I probably won’t get my thief to 80 anytime soon, but it’s good to know some of them still exist, and that I have some time of advice for the future. Thanks for the help.
How to P/D
1.) Find people in WvW who are bad
2.) Kill them
or you can
1. find people in wvw who are good
2. fight them untill they cant kill you and another of their teammates comes along
3. feel good that it would have taken 2+ to beat you
XD, atleast thats how it goes for me against heal sig warrs, and healway guards

Is P/D really that kitten that it takes even a good player to force a stalemate?
some good players, can work around it, but most often then not, if you are playing your cards right, knowing where you are, and can psych out your oponent to waste his/her dodge rolls, then yes, its pretty easy

I see… Well, I’ll get there when I get there…. I find doing well with less popular builds are always more interesting.
