I can’t justify how ridiculous D/D Mug-> Cloak->Backstab burst is. You other thieves know if as well, it’s just plain gimmicky and I wish honestly Anet would do away with Mug completely and nerf backstab damage atleast 15%.

I know how to dodge, I have 2500 armor and 17500 health. The problem may be the player sometimes, but other times it’s just a broken system/class. I’m not saying other classes aren’t without their faults, but this is the class I play and it needs to be addressed, at least for WvW sake.

That dmg is actually pretty low…

Ye that 4k backstab really need to be nerfed, seriously?

Anyways, you just need to poke him after you dodge is steal and he dies. 11k hp thats maybe 3 hits?

Yeah 20k in 2 seconds is low, and take the fact that his backstab didn’t even crit.

I think Anet has planned for thief a burst that can burst people down. I think the concept of thief is “instant killers”.

If I would try to balance this build, I would probably just increase the wait-for-restealth time.

Now it is about 3 seconds, increase it to 5 and the thief will be vulnerable during enough time.
