Assassin's Reward trait?
It means it scales 35% better with the stat “healing power”…
hint: No thief build uses Healing power (except 30 SA +300 but they dont trait that high into acro so useless)

Well, time to theory build I suppose.
New fotm build – 0/10/30/30/0

I recommend the Ninja Nurse build as a starting point

My regen build does…but that change nerfed it since I have to lose Bountiful Theft (meaning vigor) to get that extra regen back. :/
PvE Main – Zar Poisonclaw – Daredevil
WvW Main – Ghost Mistcaller – Herald
Wears Cleric’s Amulet and you will be unstoppable. Just makes sure you don’t stay in Combat Mode.
Assassin’s Reward should have never been put into grandmaster tier. It’s still barely noticeable.
Oh well. Anet did a great number on us today, another step closer to deleting the Thief from character creation!
cries in a corner
I would like to say I did slot this trait. It wasn’t bad for a 20 point trait, gave imo good sustain for a thief for the amount of healing i have (Yes i have a set with some cleric pieces in it, i’m over it already).
But if i wanted a bit of healing in Acrobatics, i’m not going to throw 30 points to get this back when I can get pain response for 20.
Pain response is still a better heal. (Let me know if my math is kittenty) but Assassin’s reward is 69 hp per second essentially (1 initiative per second), and it doesn’t remove condi’s . Pain response is 1,690 hp regen over 13 seconds. 1690/69 = ~25. So Pain response is sort of like having assassin’s reward for 25 seconds plus it removes 3 conditions that eat at your hp pool. They need to move Assassin’s Reward hp per init to at least 100 to make it worth being a 30 point trait.
The only time I see Assassin’s Reward being better is if you get regen from party members or you steal it from your target. But then you still run into the problem of the condi’s murdering you.

Don’t bother, it’s still basically useless.
They made it worse than it was. Promote “in-combat” play? 80 health per ini point? Please. Regen provides 3 times that per second.
didn’t move.

its 69 base i thought. either way even if it IS 80 per init. after you use the first 12 initiative in the first 4-5 seconds its only about 80 hp per second heal on average. hardly worthy of a master trait nevermind GM. sad.
Dear Assassin’s Reward,
It’s not you; it’s me. I’m just not that into you.
We had a lot of fun together, but this just isn’t a grandmaster relationship. You expect too much from me and aren’t willing to give back in return. I need a trait that isn’t so needy and understands my needs.
I’ve met that trait. Her name is Pain Response. She knows what this is. It’s not a commitment. It’s just a little healing on the side while I’m going out for Feline Grace.
I wish you the best and hope you find the build that’s right for you.
Sincerely,
Clockwork Bard
P.S.
I was never into Hard to Catch. I have no idea where you got that idea. She’s really random and just causes more problems when ever she tries to help.

Brilliant :P And too true! Pain Reponse is SO much better than AR
