Once you activate the new Assassin’s Signet active buff, you now deal 15% more damage on your next 5 attacks in theory.
However, currently, you lose a charge whether you just auto attack in the air, miss, use any other signet that does no damage like Infiltrator’s Signet’s Shadowstep or Signet of Shadow’s blind and all the other abilities that require a target and deal no damage.
Please fix this, so that it actually increases damage for attacks that do in fact deal damage.

It’s not a bug, because you didn’t connect the attack, doesn’t change the fact that you “attacked”. Same thing with all the venoms

Turn of auto attack. Ctrl+right mouse button. Always play like that, auto attack is really really bad. Screws up alot of things.

Why bother activating the Signet? the passive power boost has better dps that the active one….

Sane as PW, why use it and waste initiative when auto-attack does more dmg for free.

Let’s see… I think I havemore than 2k power – but for the sake of that, let’s just assume it’s 2000 exactly. Since power is multiplied into damage calculations, 15% damage would mean my power would have to rise by 300 points, to even out the bonus – or in other terms, 60 power equals a 3% damage increase at 2k power. Do the math, it’s rather easy.
Especially when you activate the signet and gain 5 stacks of might, you have the might stacks + 15% damage increase – that is way beyond 60 power passive.

The wording is screwing with people. For the time being.. pretend it says 15% extra damage on the next 5 attacks or skills used. Because even some of the non-attack skills will trigger it.

That is probably a bug. But missing using a charge is probably intended.

Why grind dungeons? Only relevant content…
Why? Gives needed gear…
Why do you need this gear? To do dungeons… duh.

Elementalists have a skill that when activated is suppose to make the next 5 attacks crit, it has the same bug where everything and anything consumes a charge, it’s been bugged and reported since beta. Basically… don’t hold your breathe, if they’re still using their bad coding to make new skills.

That is not possible.

Base power at level 80 is 916
Power with the signet is 1006

The damage formula is multiplicative, so the passive effect is worth (1006 / 916) 9.83% damage. Activating it at that little power is still a 5.17% damage increase on those attacks.

All on-attack skills and venoms waste a charge on your swing. This is because you could be swinging at a Stealth target too. Basilisk Venom is a tough one – one swing. Must use it with a gap closer and make sure it lands to gain benefit. Skill.
