So I have an Asura Thief, but I am not liking how the daggers look in his tiny hands. The daggers look like, well, small daggers.
In contrast, I have been working on a Norn Thief and the daggers look like short swords! Freaking cool!

Question: is there a dagger skin that you think looks the best on the Asura, or at least looks longer/bigger?

Small char small daggers.
Big char big daggers.

I recommend the legendary dagger Incinerator. Fractal Dagger. Or the ice dagger. Since they all have particle effects they become more noticeable.

This exactly. They are the only 3 good looking dagger skins in the game which you can still obtain. Fused dagger looks pretty good but it’s not as nice as incin for the fire look. It isn’t as big as corrupted and it doesn’t leave a kitten trail like Fractal or incin. The ice dagger is corrupted if you didn’t know.

I have a norn thief and the animations on the asuras look so much better it’s def worth the smaller skin.

Incinerator & Soulshard are the only good looking daggers for me. I don’t like the glowing of the others, as they just look pathetic and poorly designed.

Would be nice if Anet would overhaul some of the skins, as many classes can use daggers, but don’t really have anything remotely aesthetic.

Try the moonshank, it pretty big for a dagger, looks really nice and fairly cheap. On my norn it looks like it could be an asura’s greatsword.

Don’t forget the dungeon weapons as well- some of them have a good size on asura. Especially the Dark asuran daggar, which also fits the race rather well.

I don’t mind as it saves me a ton of gold not having to worry about ugly weapons/armor.

I second this recommendation. Moonshanks look amazing on Asura thieves. Their color goes really well with a lot of different dye combinations too. Black, red, orange, yellow and grey all contrast well with the Moonshank skin.
