They are supposed to be snipers, and the animation is a hip-fire for almost all of their abilities. How many snipers have you ever seen shooting from the hip? Please fix this. I have no intention of re-rolling another race for my thief.

Don’t they establish a cheek weld on their kneel? Warriors hip fire their rifles too I don’t see anything wrong with it. Unless you’re in a stationary position you aren’t exactly going to be accurate with a flintlock style rifle if you use the iron sights. And for skins like the Predator you obviously wouldn’t look through the scope…

Sharpshooters. Not snipers.

Sharpshooters are a specialist that operates typically within the range of a normal combat rifle and a little further out. They always fight with others, or if not they are alone but never further than a couple hundred yards. Normally watching over a street, or suppressing a building.

A Sniper is set much further back, typically alone and never with any form of troops.

And then the sniper 360 no-scope the enemy and runs up to teabag the him.

A sniper is typically never alone and will most likely be supporting/supported by troops in one way or another. Probably more typical to someone scouting over a keep or a 2 man havoc group in WvW rather than a solo gank thief running around.

I also found this to be quite frustrating. You start with looking down the sight only to move it down to your hip for the shot. Mental.

Maybe this caused too many LoS issues with how tall the Asuran models are.

What about Asuran warriors on rifle? Same issue?

I agree with Tringsh here, its rather annoying to see Asura fire from hip as a Deadeye even after the Kneel skill is active.
