Hey guys! I have been playing the thief since the game came out and the majority of the time I have used a backstab build or a P/D condition build. Are there any challenging and fun S/D builds out there? Thanks

They are of course, although you will always do better with a backstab build. This class is pretty boring. Necros are pretty fun.

Once you realize thiefs are not all about stealths and backstabs you’ll love thief even more.

Don’t know if you want to PvE or PvP but, S/P + SB is amazing for PvE (dungeons, fractals, …) imo. Try it.

Actually S/P + SB is amazing for WvW / Tpvp as well. Peeps are just lacking the imagination to try out things and enjoy the game, they just bandwagon on whatever spec is popular after a patch (with the exception of P/P which really needs some adjustments, all weapon set combinations are viable, obviously D/D being highest single target dps).

P/D P/D is my use, i just use stealth to re position myself but generally is a full bleeding build, tis very fun, and most people don’t know whats happening in my experience as most thiefs are backstabbers d/d or d/p as soon as a thief is a different build i get the feeling people are more like ‘’hmmm this isn’t normal?’’

however i suck at fighting other thieves which is anoying! (however i am still really new to the thief so :P )
