Best PvP Condi Thf Build....?
arent u lacking stunbreakers and some heal considering the lack of stealth?
I would swap Havoc Mastery for Brawler’s Tenacity, and Swap Withdraw for Channeled Vigor in this style of build, especially with the Runes of Adventure, it will provide more endurance regen. Possibly swap out Skale venom for Shadow step or Infiltrator’s Signet, with out Stun Breaks Condi thief gets locked down to easily ad Dies.
To be fair, ‘best’ is really relative, you can’t pick one build and declair it to be above all else, considering the different playstyles and scenarios.
Depending on what role you fill in your team, different builds become more viable.
Looking at the build you posted, I’d guess you aimed at a more skirmish oriented build, rather than a bursty one.
Following that line of thought, I was using a ‘special’ build while I was climbing with my two friends. It was a carrion DA/SA/DD venomshare build. It worked great for me in every situation, using Ambush and TG, I was able to win even 1v1s with it but it was generally made for it’s teamfighting potential. I’d say it’s definately sth worth testing further if you are bored and want to try sth new.

This is what I used at the start of the season, im on staff now, but it used to work pretty well.
It is a lot more defensive and enables infinite kiting of single or even duo players without leaving the point.(Unless they are getting too good that is) The damage is ok to kill some people and its not as easy to outplay as a lotus build.
I find assassins reward a lot more reliable heal, and I couldnt say I ever missed the initiative.
Ive tried the usual ‘all in’ condi build with uncatchable, dagger training, lotus training, and I have never felt so helpless. So immobile and unable to control my own fate.
Rather use a suboptimal build before I have to experience that again.

My idea is that with acrobatics as well as the passive energy regen as well as extra energy from sources you would have around 12+ dodge rolls not counting your normal regen from vigor. The stunbreaker (passive) that gives energy would be used for escapes, use that and dodge roll 3 time sin one direction swapping to SB5 and get away. Since dodge rolls do dmg with the talent in daredevil, im doing dmg while I dodge etc.

The Signe of Agility does not stun break, it helps with Condi cleanse, only the Infiltrator Signet stun breaks.
This would be a more defensive build. I just worry that only applying bleed and poison with dagger attacks, and just torment on dodge would greatly reduce the potential for this build to actually kill anything.

Defintely more surv though.
This would give you higher sustain in fights, you won’t be able to burst anyone down for sure, but the constant pressure you will apply as well as the CCs will benefit you, maybe swap Basi Venom for Impact Strike to give more endurance and shorter CD CC with faster stomps.
Went through diamond to legendary with this in two queue sessions:

This is very similar to my build and does well for thieves, especially against unfavorable match ups against Mesmers and Revs.
I’ve found much more use with Dagger Training than Mug. With it, your Death Blossom has a chance to apply poison to all of your targets. It’s far more damage than Mug if you can spare Mug’s negligible heal—esspecially when you consider all the other poison augmentations you’re running.

just got legendary again last week with this one: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vZAQNAoYVn8lCFmidmCmOBkmilWCrbx8E2CznwV4LULAcAWAA-TZxBQBNsMAAOFAW4IAYw9HW2DAAA
never play other professions then thief so i had a lot of time to mess around with this. shadowstep or sigil of agility, impact strike or basilik venom, instant reflexes or pain response, assasins reward or upper hand, sigil of doom or sigil or corruption, runes of thornes or runes of advanture, sage or carrion amulet are the choices u need to make. this is the build i can play best as it has very high burst/sustain potential.

True. Mug has saved my life many times back then, but ofc its much less effective if steal isnt traited for recharge.
I made this build at the start of the PvP season, It has brought me up to diamond.
Bleed damage is the only damage for me ;P
All the dodge!
