What Short Bow skin would you recommend for a thief? I’m searching for some dark, kitten stuff.

Have a look at the Crucible of Eternity shortbow skin.

It’s quite dark with a red streak of lightening :P

Pact shortbow is quite nice. It’s small, dark and has a few blue details. Fits nicely with the AC daggers as a set. Also, it’s dirt cheap on the TP.

Can never go wrong with Dreamer

Btw, don’t get CoE bows, they look so plain. You’d probably be best off with arah bow. Great dark blue hue and the bow itself looks real nice. If that’s not good enough either, Aether looks really good on dark armors as well.

I use Pirate Needler, but I hope to get the Fractals shortbow at some point. The Fused shortbow skin also looks great.

The arrah shortbow looks really nice, the spvp one (shortbow of the dragon’s deep in pve).

Not pictured, but it has a nice effect of bluish fog/smoke coming off it.

My fav one is the steam shortbow. The steam punk look goes well with a bow that shoots bombs and is a compound bow so extra awesomenes and you find them in low level areas (the only con is you don’t look elite with a low level skin, but I love it). My favorite expensive bow is aether and as a bladed bow it seems fit for a thief too.

to be fair, that lightning strike that you so eloquently screen shotted, won’t be noticeable most of the time. If the lightning effect was more prevalent I’d for sure agree that the bow looked great.

My fav is either the new Fused skin or the Etched Shortbow(they changed the skin a little bit).

Arachnophobia all the way.

If you think about it, spiders are nature’s “assassins”. They use stealth, camouflage, poison, deadly quickness and precision, traps, you name it.

Dress your thief like a ninja in dark-ish dyes and wear Arachnophobia like a boss.

I’ll post a screenshot of my assassin later.

True but it’s still the best shortbow for an asura thief. If my thief was human, i’d prolly go for arachnophobia as well, or whisper’s secret short bow.

I love SAB shortbow, but its anything but “dark” – shiny blue with special glow effect and particle traces.

everybody should get a slingshot. that’s what shortbows had became, less of a weapon than a slingshot.

I think the mystic shortbow is decent looking for a darker character.
