I was in the eb jp, bored, and decided to get my troll on. My 1 rule was I wouldn’t try to kill someone until they tried to kill me. You can harass all you like but nothing that can do any real damage. You do this and wait till the other player gets so frustrated they attack you. If the player is bad, you let them go. Only thing you have to do is make sure you /sit beside the guy as they’re reviving. I call this fishing.
I started in the dark room. I would wait for people to jump towards the pillars, then toss a dancing dagger at them while they’re mid air. Mid air cripple leads to countless failed jumps :P If the enemy is savy and jump dodges (or moves sporadically so the dagger misses) use headshot with bas venom. So freaking hilarious. Doing dancing dagger by the flame heads works too.
After about 10-15 minutes of this, I decided to leave the dark room guys alone and advanced to the arena. I’m not joking when I say I kept these 2 rangers in the arena for 20 minutes with nothing more than dancing dagger. I let them advance b/c I realized that they would have been stuck there even if I wasn’t there.
After a while I realized that people were getting mesmer portaled up so I went back to the very beginning. I didn’t have any jumps to block with dancing dagger so I just used choking gas. As soon as a player jumped down, they’d try to attack me. I’d stay JUST out of range and hit them with choking gas. After a while they’d give up, I’d type /dance or /laugh and continue to harass with nothing but choking gas. I’d have to kill the ranged players but at one time I had 3 melee-ers chasing me down, so frustrated at my choking gas.
There was this decent necro and a VERY angry guard. I trolled with the necro for a little too long, taking a little too much damage, so by the time I killed him, I was at 15% hp. The guard went balls to the wall against me. I don’t think he was expecting me to just dodge all his pulls and leaps and toss nothing but choking gas at him. The guard killed me once but since we are at the very beginning, he didn’t like it when I fell on top of him with choking gas following me down. He decided to double team me with the necro. I don’t think they appreciated it when I killed them both 3 times in a row and always found the time to /dance on their corpses.
The absolute best was when I just spammed /laugh over and over at the guard and let him auto me down from 100% to when my last refuge proc’d then killed him with nothing but cnd and choking gas. I could just picture the guy breaking his keyboard just then.
Remember, I never attacked anyone first. I just followed them around, annoying them with choking gas and crippling them mid jump with dancing dagger.

One that I don’t quite recommend as it’s quite scummy is to down someone along the beams in the dark room (but not kill) and take away their torches. Bonus points if you use the 3 skill as they’re healing.

that makes my day every time XD, ahahahahaha
There was like 15 directly behind me and 30+ in front. I totally got away too.

I make fish food out of the WAR guild. Nothing but a bunch of trolls and angry kids. If I see one, griefing mode activates. I even equip scorpion wire and pull them off ledges. Only guys worse then them is everyone from Borlis Pass.

Well if I weren’t on vacation during this matchup, we might have crossed paths. Keep an eye out for the rest of TFH as WAR likes to follow us around occasionally.
Not much of a troll myself, but I can definitely see how much trolling you can achieve being a thief. I was doing tpvp with my friends, capping the mid point when I saw that Svanir returned (that boss was on “our” side, so I thought wth, I’ll do it) when I was arriving there was a necro and two other enemies beating the npc, I move in quietly, CnD and BS, the kill was mine, everyone attacked me but without avail, I ran, suddenly I see that this necro (we’ll call him Jim) was chasing me with all his necro speed, furious for what I just did, insulting me on chat. Up until that moment, we were losing for like a hundred points, but my steal seemed to have a negative impact on the enemy team as a whole, they started to chase me on sight, losing points, not zerging (which was what they were actually doing the whole fight), and Jim would attack me with all his might, even if he was outnumbered (dying in a hilarious way btw, insulting while dead, and unable to kill me, not one time, not even 1vs1). We ended up losing on a tight 499-500, Jimmy couldnt be happier, he showed that “kitten” thief how its done! proceding to laugh and trash talk, while me n my friends lolled hard. I’ll not post a picture of him insulting me (altough I hardly consider being called homosexual in a thousand ways much of an insult these days) but i’ll leave a little something that could show how happy he was when he won… and nah, i didnt reported him, must’ve been a 13 or something, and he gave me a good time! why would I?
I do this all the time. :P When you see party invite coming its like “My job here is done.”.

The best is when you invite them to a party, and then ask why they invited you when they join.

If I see someone in the arena I pt invite them if I’m feeling trolly. If they decline, then I troll them extra hard (and don’t if they accept).
Today I fought like 10 guys from a zerg of 60 (who ran by seeing it was buffed to go fight the wurm) with a buffed supervisor. Guess who won?
This is the ultimate troll back before planks got nerfed (seriously anet<)
I spent more time than I should in the JP denying ports and killing insane amounts of campers just with 1/2 of us and planks :P
I’m in some of the clips, too!
That plank video thanks for sharing that was funny im sad i missed the opportunity to do it.

We used to steal blueprints in the JP when people would drop them at their commander’s feet as well!
My friend who posted that plank video has one on his channel where he steals a cata and treb blueprint from MERC…good times.
That makes me wonder could you build a flame ram in the jp and fear people of ledges and such?
Ban of consumables in WvW was so lame and disrespectful for the communty. It’s not like we don’t know what is fun for us.
Now, we have only scorpion wire and charrzooka.

what do you mean ? i can’t eat food in wvw anymore ?!?
No, it was a response to the film about using planks to throw people off cliffs. You can use your food, but many funny and useful gadgets got banned.
To be fair, some of the consumables banned were a bit OP in WvW though. Like the skrit gears. Did you ever lose a 5v1 to an uplevel? If he had a stack of gears you did. The planks were funny though, and I liked skale venom, its just to bad the guy who posted the video is clicker, that kinda ruins the video.
