There is a very serious issue which is very bad for the thief balance (means be able to do as much dmg as other proffesions (lol))

Many bosses reset istantly after using clock and dagger when u fight them solo.
The most famous one is giganticus lupicus.
It is realy realy bad design and you shoudl realy take a look into this.
Yesterday i was fighting lupi, he had 6 conditions on him (used the f1 thingy) so in p2 after he slapped i used CnD caue i thought if he has so much conditions he shouldnt reset.
What happened? he resets. instantly within 0,5 sec up to 100% again.
Same thing happened on many other boss fights.
It is soo bad. PLEASE CHANGE THIS.
with the upcoming crit dmg nerf, and the heartseeker nerf i fear that lupi fight will take so much longer since i cant use backstab much cause i have to fear that he resets…

however others do it too.

i have also noticed this but its nto a constant. some do some dont. anet should look into it.

Done Arah p2 solo quite a few times recently and didn’t have this problem. I could actually take a couple of seconds to move around before Backstabbing and it was all fine. Maybe it was just his bad positioning (he resets instantly if he gets dug in to the gates on the sides).

i notice its distance related…well % is higher of resetting if ur outside of like 600 range. im not saying like 1800 range or something. but more than melee.

i dont range lupi i only be range to pull him and let the grub spawn, also the boss i ranges is priestess of dwayna as far as i can think

doesnt matter what YOU do…point is that this happens. your preferences on fighting style have no effect on gameplay. you might experience different thigns accordingly…but thats of no consequence to the bug expressed in this thread
