Ist just too few dmg!

When you hit your 5 it does with the right gear about 10k dmg, thats way to few.

Staff thief is hard to Play i explain the Rotation:

Open with staff 5, then 5, 5, dodge, dodge, heal 5 5 5 finish.

Pls anet make staff kitten instakill and mabye insta finish .

10K?! Pfft. In WvW I get 12K crits with my Vaults. Can legitimately kill a group of people with a couple of Vaults. WvW damage numbers FTW!

It’s pretty funny when you learn how to interrupt Vault though. However, Anet (and the wiki) provide no assistance for learning when you should attempt to interrupt powerful skills incorporating evade frames, so expect some frustration as you learn to find that sweet spot for the interrupt whilst the player you are trying to interrupt just rotates through skills wildly without a care in the world. Rewarding gameplay is somewhere there, but I can’t quite see it…

vault can instant kill someone LOL? you easly hit 30k maybe try hard to 40k in WvW

Was gonna say I can get it to 30k with few issues in WvW.

If anything it needs a damage cut considering its initiative cost…

OP, you realize that Vault easily has the potential to be the second hardest-hitting single-attack ability in the entire game, right?

I find Vault thieves laughably easy to fight. My favorite is a Bound Staff build gets immobilized and don’t know they can break it with a Staff skill.
