Shadow Shot (D/P #3) is supposed to be Unblockable.

Currently it is not working and it is being Blocked (at least on the last couple Guardians I just tried it on in sPvP).

ANet – Please fix this skill so that it is Unblockable – (Please DO NOT change the tool tip) – Make this skill work as it is supposed to be and make it so it is not able to be Blocked.

I tested this only on Guardians so far. I will have to try against other classes when I have a chance.

I noticed in the combat log that blocks don’t show up. I did a test with my friend on his guardian, he used Shelter and had retaliation up, and i used Shadow Shot 3 times, he blocked it 3 times, I took retaliation damage 3 times and there was no Shadow Shot showing in the combat log at all. So, I can’t really show this in a screen shot from the combat log.

I attached a screenshot I just took in a hot join, I spammed Shadow Shot only to get this screen. You can tell that Shadow Shot was the skill activated by the look of the icon.

Only the blinding shot is unblockable. Since he is blind, it looks like it is working properly. It used to not be unblockable, but reflects would end up teleporting your target to you, so they changed it so that you would always teleport to the target, but the knife attack can be blocked.

From the wiki:
“Only the projectile portion is unblockable.”

The guardian has been blinded in your screenshot, so it looks like it’s working “properly”.

I was using this skill today in WvW on guardians and it worked as intended. The projectile is unblockable so you still get shadow stepped to the target then the follow up attack does get blocked. No bug with it that I know of
