So apparently Quick Pockets got extremely redundant 8 sec ICD today as a bug fix…. doesn’t it have a CD already you know with the 10 Second CD on Weaponswap? So why would the trait need a ICD? It couldn’t be due to Rune of the Warrior since that still doesn’t drop the Weapon CD down below 8 secs…..

Could a Dev state why this change was made?

Is it because of some interaction between bundles or banners?

Fixed an issue in Eternal Coliseum where players could teleport up to the secondary objective while the gate was up.

Thief—Quick Pockets: This trait now has an 8-second internal cooldown between activations."

Most likely some sort of exploit. Anyway, as you say, its not an issue for normal players.

I believe it had something to do with using tonics to keep max initiative up while in fights

There are timers on tonics in combat though.

Because you can get infinite initiative by spamming wvw traps from inventory.

I also think you could get that INI from going in and out of water. Not as easy to abuse so like;y why it not addressed prior.
