Builds for dungeons
P/D for Cloak and Dagger with 30 Shadow Arts (condition removal, regeneration) combined with some toughness/vitality pieces is quite sturdy for a thief (I have completed event chains with it solo).
Yep, this is an awesome build for dungeons.
Don’t have to worry about getting one shot and you just sit there and stack a tons of bleeds and collect loot. Gives you plenty of time to help the group by picking people up.
you know I should probably try that…. ive been using my 25/30/0/0/15 build for dungeons… forever. s/p with sb. hmph. I havent used p/d since the dancing dagger nerf. Maybe ill give that a whirl today
It is pretty good. You do respectable damage, but the perk is that you hardly ever even get put in the downed state. I roll with the utilities Caltrops/Roll for Initiative/Shadow’s Refuge and Elite I swap between Daggerstorm and Thieves Guild.
Use Caltrops in big groups and lay on a ton of bleeds with SB, then if I get in a 1v1 situation I swap to P/D and CnD to stealth attack for bleeds with caltrops. If I get stunned or rooted I use RFI and I use Shadow’s Refuge to help provide a HoT on people or use it when someone is face tanking and goes down and needs to be picked up. Daggerstorm for groups of Trash or a boss that summons trash and Thieves Guild for solo bosses.

im gonna mess with this today I dont know why I never even thought to try something else in dungeons. My guild does well in dungeons damage wise but I def go down the most, been looking to change that. thanks
Does P/D work well in Arah? I’ve been going with S/P and switching to P/P for Giganticus b/c I’m not confident of melee’ing the boss…
