I kept reading here and there that DD makes a good break-bar breaker through the use of quite a few CC. Is it so?

If so, does it make a good “break-bar breaker” role?

Sword/Pistol has quite a bit of CC between ambush, pistol smoke field, and pistol whip in conjunction with their other abilities.
