I wanted to make a thief build that stacked might that used venoms because of the imminent buff. Here it is:
Obviously the build has big downsides in that you don’t have shortbow, and venoms take up your utilities. On the other hand, you can get up to 20 stacks of might regularly, and sigil of intelligence allow you to hit 4.5k backstabs. At the same time sneak attack deals at around 4k damage. The build is really fun to play as you very well have the ability to lock someone down with interrupts, and immobilize while still dealing good damage and having good sustain.
This build is not good at all by itself, but a small change will make it immensely viable:
-1 point in Trickery
+1 point in Shadow Arts(Venom Share trait)
Now your thief can significantly contribute to any group fights.
I hope you’ll listen to this piece of advice.
Were you testing this build in hotjoin yesterday? I kept running up against a thief using these venoms, and I have to say it wasn’t that great because the skale venom gets cleared too easily for the cooldown. If you insist on having 2 utility slots filled by venoms, ice drake would probably be better because you can rotate between that and devourer venom, so when one is inevitably cleansed, you pop the other and kill them. The utility is the “strength” of venoms, not their damage.
I also wouldn’t recommend the venom heal.
