I want to level a thief to play staff Daredevil at endgame.

I really like a char thief but I am worried about the staff animations. Can anyone tell me if they look decent on a char? Cheers.

Create one and head right into PVP and go to town on a golem for a bit to see if you like it.

Was worried about the same thing, but my charr looks like an awesome kungkittenkitty with her staff.

I’m happy with the animations. Skill #5 feels very powerful, almost a ‘’you shall not pass’’ moment everytime you use it :P

Make one, join a pvp match get legit one shotted by DH. Then reroll into the new meta (dh or necro). All seriousness though i love staff daredevil but during pvp with like 15k hp dh can legit hit you from range in the 8k-9ks. Then you get into melee range and you have to avoid 3 traps plus the focus block while taking the range dmg.

Although apparently Daredevil does great dps in pve.

I actually have not seen a char daredevil yet, i play a human one and the animations are alright… i would think with a big character model like that jumping all around the screen might be a bit distracting.

I totally forgot I can go to the pvp-lobby and test everything out. Just did it and the animations on the char for a staff Daredevil are pretty cool. The 5 skill looks very powerfull. Now to level it to 80!

And yeah I read the problems some classes can give us. I just like the flavour/theme of the thief class.
