Hello!

I know we are a rare bread, and I am pretty new in the ranks of the Charr (rolled a 2nd thief as a Charr – Ash legion, and that was pretty kitten awesome).

Does any of you charr thieves have any advice on armor sets?

One problem I have tho, is finding a suitable armor for him. I’m soon hitting 80, and would like to have a plan for what to go for.

Subterfuge Hood, Seeker Shoulders, Wrangler Coat (cultural armor), Drover Gloves (cultural armor), Sneakthief Leggings, Swindler Boots.

That’s how my charr thief looks like since there is nothing better look for a charr thief in my opinion…and yes without a chest piece

@Ryu: That’s not a bad look, good on you. Will def. take those gloves into consideration.

@Mirjan: Lol, that is just awesome. No need for a chest piece, strut that fur!

So, mine at the moment is just real basic armour, i kinda like it though.

why are we so rare? i mean come on a charr ash legion-whispers thief is just bad kitten , whats scaier than a huge cat popping out of the shadows with fangs saying ‘’boo!’’ then proceeds to stab you…

He sure looks like a crazy one, frenzied eyes and all. Cool Good thing he has his mouth guard on place, or else it could get messy :P

But it’s not Roj the Rowdy!

Armor (appearance) is a mix of drover’s (cultural; head/shoulders/coat) and krytan (gemstore; pants/gloves/boots).

Just a warning if you want to use the tier 3 cultural armour chest piece. The weapon placement is like if you were using the bottom skirt half as well and so hovers a large distance off your characters legs depending on what body type you use. If weapon hovering and tail clipping doesn’t bother you than you have a much wider range of armour than I do.

I’m still using the tier 1 cultural armour (with tier 3 boots). It’s not very sleek although I suppose if you can find and actual black dye for it (black= brown on this, and I have no good black dyes anyway) then it could look like something that would obscure your shape in the dark and you could hide things in it shrug
I use to have a combination of stuff and still have it as my “I actually need some defence” set (I have Whispers and Priory together with the transmutation trick to get around order restrictions).

The latest cash shop outfit looks alight in preview (minus the helm).

What cash shop outfit you mean, not the shadow assassin thingy? I thought that looked like a joke, lol :P Nothing assassin about it on the charr.

Here is what I’m using right now. From head to claw the skins are:

Adventurer’s Mantle
Rascal Shoulders
Priory’s Historical Jerkin
Krytan Armguards
Accursed Leggins
Privateer Boots

Any1 know of a dye that turns my armor real black? This is abyss, and it get’s grey-ish. It’s the material I guess, other armors abyss does its job.

Try midnight fire, in some materials looks darker than abyss, but in others looks like a very dark red. Or maybe midnight sky (same but bluish instead of red).

My favorite is the good old Sneakthief armor, it just looks so good on Charr

Midnight dye turns it brown on this armor, have tried that one. But thanks anyway!

Cowl Shadestrike.

Although I had considered renaming him Meowzio Purritore.

Honestly, I am not even a fan of the Assassin’s Creed series, but I was screwing around with the dyes and realized that the colors kind of work with the Order of Whisper’s armor.

I’m still looking for something that could fit the Steampunk aesthetic of the Charr. Some of the market like the Aetherblades looked more fit to an engineer to me.

I’m not 100% on the set but I just hit 80 last night and like it a lot.

The goggles are Eagle-Eye Goggles, something engineers can pick at character creation (yay wardrobe).
