Iam playing sometimes a thief with high toughness and try to use daze more often. For that I need to use cloak and dagger and stay behind the opponent.

I encounter very often that cloak & dagger doesnt work at all, I dont get invisible but my initiative points get removed. And, even I stand behind the opponent the daze effect from my auto hits from the sword shows no effect at all…

Are these bugs, would not be surprised since we know how buggy this game is, or is this just due to server latency issues ?

Anyone else has similar problems ?

Did your CnD attack connect with the enemy and you didn’t go into stealth?

If so. You must of attacked from stealth recently and received the ‘revealed’ debuff preventing you from stealthing for 3 seconds.

Or you maybe didn’t hit him at all ;-) initiative drops even in missed attacks

If I am not mistaken it also happens(no stealth) when the skill gets blocked and such.

Would be nice if some of our more expensive skills got a return for misses at least. Say 1/2 of the initiative cost.

Blocking I can understand.

iv had a similar experience, when using cnd.

it connects, and you get the stealth buff, and can use backstab, but it doesnt show stealth your character

might be a bug.

I’ve had what savage described. I’ve connected with a C&D, but my character doesn’t appear stealthed and I can still backstab things.

There is an old bug,where if you do the Steal+C&D combo,you will actually stealth,but you will be completely visible on the screen(just visually to you).Maybe this is your problem.It is in fact very annoying because you have to watch if you got the Stealth buff or you missed the C&D.

^ Yeah, the issue I was having is just a display bug ( I’m assuming only on my end ).
