I am sure there are posts that give the details, but I did not find any on a few searches.

Can someone point me to one that goes into the technical aspects of our stats?

E.g.
Whats the most important factor for X skills?
Precision, Power, Crit , Crit damage, condition damage etc

Are their soft caps or hard caps?

Is there any value is getting 5k power? Or over 100% crit?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Most of your question can be answered with this spreadsheet:

IMHO, gearing for Crit chance is a waste since there are other ways to get 100% crit chance, so I personally focus on Crit damage. And no, I don’t know if there’s a benefit past 100% crit chance.

1) There are no forms of diminishing returns for +stats. I believe that there is a hard cap for +stats, but it’s high enough that you’re never going to potentially hit it without some AoE buffs from other people. Even then, you’ll probably be still below the stat cap. So for all intents and purposes, don’t worry about it.

2) Once you reach 100% Crit Chance, there is no point in going any higher. Having said that, you won’t be reaching 100% very easily at 80th level. Assuming that you’re constantly getting the Fury boon (+20% Crit Chance) on a consistent basis from yourself and other AoE buffs, you might get close. Yet like Answer #1, reaching the Crit Chance cap isn’t something that you need to actively worry about.

3) Skills: That kind of answer would take far too long and many of the answers would be far too subjective. Attacks which primary give out condition damage dots will want +Condition gear. Physical damage attacks want Power, Precision, and +Crit Damage. Then things start to get less clear when you’re looking at attacks which do partial condition damage and partial condition damage.

We are Test Group F. (Don’t ask about what happened to the previous Test Groups.)

That is very helpful! Love the spreadsheet., so much good information there.

Basically I started this search to determine between power and precision. I am planning to do X-30-30-X-0 Where one of the x will be 0 and the other 10. I want to try them out to see how squishy I am without the extra 10 in acrobat.

So I am trying to decide on which runes to put on my armor.

I am torn between:
Wurm for the Crit damage/Vitality
Warrior for power/vitality
Eagle for precision/
Scholar for Crit/Precision

I just cant afford divinity.

What do you think?

I’m currently using Wurm since my build is focused on raw power and survivability. I think this will benefit you also given that you allocated 30 in SA.

But yeah I feel you. I would purchase a better rune if I can afford it (need to stop rolling an alt ;P).

1) yes there is, the reward for 1 point of power is given by (Pow+1)/Pow, and as Pow increases, the damage amplification decreases.
