I want to make a condition damage thief for WvW. I personally would go with Pistol/Dagger – Shortbow all three of them Carrion…gear wise, would I go full carrion with knights runes? (For the survival) and traits wise, I went 30-20-0-0-20 (that was a super quick build though so if it’s wrong let me know.) If anyone could give me some tips I’d love to hear them…I’m normally a glass cannon and getting sick of being squishy with my 100% berserkers so yeah, let me know (:

Main problem I see with 30/20/0/0/20 is you’re running 20 in crit strikes for a condition-based build.

Yeah, drop the points in Crit Strikes and put those in Shadow Arts. I would also advise dropping Trickery for Acrobatics, but that’s up to you.

Also, Runes are up to you, but if you leave 20 in Deadly arts, with 2x centaur, 2x krait, 2x affliction and one sigil of agony you can reach a perfect even 7s on vital shot. this is important because the damage from bleeds only ticks on full seconds.

Personally every thief build for me starts at 10/0/0/15/0 and goes from there. Mug and Feline grace are amazing and all of their pre-reqs are good.

I think Mug is pretty optional for condition build I think. What I actually missed was Serpent’s touch.

I think Mug is pretty optional for condition build I think. What I actually missed was Serpent’s touch.

I tried getting rid of it and just couldn’t. It’s the only bit of burst a condition build can really get.
