Condi Dmg vs Duration + Perplexity?
I prefer this build editor since it gives me calculations on how my build affects my weapon skills damage.
Here’s a build I was playing, my goal was to reach above 4000+ bleed dmg every sneak attack (7 sec bleeds), and also having the other conditions at even numbers for the extra tick, and this one allows me for 15 points in trickery, for the 3 extra ini and also the trickery major adept trait which is better than the deadly arts ones.

Tried bringing your build there too for comparison.

it depends really where and whom you fight
in wvw usually you want to have more condition dmg over duration as many players already stack with 2-3 conditions removal skills so the more dps from condition is better
but also it depends on your game style. like if you play more defensively or aggressively
also take into account ppl use condition deduction duration with food
so after testing several builds i recommend on those state:
condition dmg 2000 and above with food, sigil of burst and corruption and 5 might stacks from stealth. i have about 2200
condition duration is 60% and above. i have 70%-85%
you also want 5 different conditions stacking to cover your bleed if you like more going on duration than dmg
Thanks so much for the input!
I’m using this build with either P/P secondary or SB (mostly P/P for the on demand interrupt and for the smoke field). Primarily use P/D for fighting players, although sometimes start the fight in P/P for the initial interrupt and not having to waste my first steal.
Ricochet is really great esp with unload. I find using unload is a good way to finish off runners (better than SB was since it is so fast).
So primarily will start with P/P and headshot when I see an animation to get 5 stacks of confusion, then swap weapons and C/D + steal which interrupts again (although perplex ICD won’t get you the extra 5 stacks – which I view as a fair nerf). This applies vuln and poison and blind.
Typically then give them an in your face sneak attack then a shadow shot to bounce away and apply torment. So – they have Confusion, Poison, Vuln, Blind, then a bunch of bleeds and torment. With high Condi Damage this is v bad for most classes (watch out for necros).
At this point if they are in real trouble and run you can Body shot them to immobilize or you can switch back to P/P and unload. If they are in trouble and not running you can Pew Pew for a bit or even HiS and then unload again.
It’s hard for them to clear the confusion and poison with so many covers and you can reapply the bleeds easily.
