Condition Thief vs Damage Thief.
Condition builds are limited due to the max condition stacks, therefore you’ll perform badly in a large group settings.
While Power builds just keep getting better and better the larger your group becomes.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.
PvE power is really better, a lot faster anyway.
For PvE, don’t even bother with Condition builds.
- They deal less damage.
- They lower the damage of other condition classes due to stack limits.
- Conditions are already generoulsy applied from various attacks without the need to spec for it.
- They offer no benefits over Power damage.
- Even with a team of full Power builds it’s rare to see a boss without a full bar of conditions.
In PvP however it’s the exact opposite.

Exactly what they said, for PvE go full zerker 25/30/xx/xx/xx.
But in WvW (not sure about sPvP) conditions are really strong. And for a condi thief you dont need precision or crit dmg, that means you can go full dire for 2,8k armor and 20k health, so you’ll be very tanky.
P/D 0/0/30/20/20 is the only way i can survive an 1v3, 2v5 fights.
Since you’re not doin pvp, condi builds are viable but not at all optimal. Pve, pw destroys on a good build and gets your punch in a lot quiker than trying to stack high bleeds on a group.
You dont beed to go full zeker to be strong, especially in fotm where trash mobs hit lile bosses.
break. I feel like they should be back by now..”
