btw 50% speed in stealth + 1k life + 2s swiftness on evade are pretty good.
not saying that DA is bad.
Wouldent this build work out better with say.. mixing in 3 runes of krait and 3 runes of afflicted for that bleed duration? Only at the cost of some condition damage, and the other effects of the perplexity runes, but I could see you benefiting more from those.

i would also change the food for 40% condition duration

Thats why I’ve seen people rolling this build with shadowstep instead of the venom.

I also don’t believe that there’s a “Dire Amulet” or runes of Perplexity in SPVP either.
That said, I understand this is meant for WvWvW.
Why the rabid trinkets? That precision is useless at 10%. You should go with full dire trinkets.

Ascended versions yes, not sure about exotic, as I got mine long ago.
That build will die to stuns and definitely can’t do much more than selected 1v1s. It’s not even a good p/d build there. You wont even survive the burst of prober gank thief with that setup. Since there is no stun break so you will eat the whole mug, c&d, bs, hs combo. Hell, even s/p should destroy that setup.
It’s not bad build, but I think it has too many weaknesses and is to easy to pin down to be that effective for roaming in wvw.

“Traveler’s” amulet and rings, and “Vallog’s Demise” as the accessories.
@ Nickthemoonwolf: it won’t be better to mix runes since perplexity is what makes the build op. You can kill people just spamming 4 with off hand pistol.
You can definetly put shadowstep instead of venom.
@ Master of Timespace: you won’t eat the whole mug, c&d, bs, hs combo simply because you can cast blinding powder, avoiding BS, removing basilisk (if present) and gaining stealth.
vs melee: d/p autoattack + 3 when they come close + steal when they cast a non istant skill.
vs ranged/hammers: p/p 4 will do the job
Jewelry is dire+carrion as it is the only ascended dire set present (i think)
Blinding powder will only save you from the last hs, I think. The basilisk lands on mug, and the c&d immeditately after that So you can now cast blinding powder to blind the enemy thief, and the next bs he uses will miss. But he should have enough time for another bs before the venom stun wears off. Unless if blinding powder removes stone? (Would be a suprise to me, never noticed it to and I almost always carry blinding powder.)
Even then, I think warriors with stuns, lots of stability and berserker stance could be a problem. Though I quess thats just another op setup that needs a nerf.
Anyhow, I think I’ll give the build a go. Just bothers me that they might nerf those runes in the next balance patch, and they are quite expensive.

with perplexity rune against smart foes its hard to do dmg as they cleanse the condition or just reset the fight . new players will just spam skills to death but any dmg will kill them as they new players.
i love to see d/p spamming hs when he got even 8 stacks confusion.
its also fun to see ppl with torment and confusion just standing knowing they cant use skills cant dodge or move . but they forget its only 2-5 stacks so by just see it on your screen make them fear …
and i hope the only nerf will be cd on the #6 ability so pl just wont spam 4444444

Blinding powder grants stealth and stealth remove a condition so basically when you use it you should remove basilisk (applied after poison). If it’s covered by another condition you can simply shadowstep away.
