When I’m fighting an Asura I forget all of my teef training and when I cloak and dagger, I just press 5 and hope that I hit something.

I don’t know how to play this class. I either do really fine or I will do terrible. Usually when it’s the last I go on a hiatus of the class, but I still think this might be the class for me (Idk why I still main Guardian, lately I’ve been doing fine with Thief)

I don’t slot thrill of the crime cos I still use autotargeting.

When I play anything other than dd and 6 in trickery I still and+steal like I do…

Steal and! …trick shot?
Steal and! …black powder? I’ll roll with it…

I use Thieve’s Guild in sPvP.
I’m one match away from slotting double pistol.
I-I DON’T LIKE PLAYING STEALTH!

I run p/d perplexity cancer in WVW because winning is more fun to me than having a fun fight.

I switched from thief to warrior and guardian for wvw +8 months as well… and then I “stopped” :|

(Don’t know didnt really find guardian as fun, though I survived a lot better… tried warrior, survived just as well, dealt pretty darn good damage, but just wasnt fun I guess… o wells)

I started out playing thief to learn how to fight them, but I only learned how to be a mediocre thief player in the end.

I admit it…I love shortbow. If I could, it would be the only weapon I would use. I want to be able to just spam the AA and skill 2 over and over in dungeons and be useful! Who needs stealth on hits when I can hit things with a unicorn?

tbh with amount of aoe flying around in pvp sb is like only option lol

I find it enjoyable to completely sneak up all stealthed behind someone…. THEN SPAM HEARTSEEKER! and nothing else. Generally people don’t die, and I shadow step away then run into a keep or tower, and they chase me and fail to kill me, then try to invite me and call me names and say I suck, but the jokes on them. (*^.^)

My thief time went from some 98% of total gw2 gaming time down to 10%.

Maybe not the most interesting confesion in this thread, but definitely the saddest realisation for me in my tiny gw2 universe.

Steal carries me sometimes. When I play really badly I just press steal and it turns the fight in my favor. Thanks to OP steal.

I used stealth one time by accident. ._.

I don’t main thief, I’ve barely ever played it, in fact it’s rare I ever frequent the class subforum, but I take a special pleasure in stealing things out from under them. Who’s the thief now!

I double tap Headshot, Heartseeker and BP and get carried by trickery steal

I make sure to attack and harass every mesmer I see even if it kills me or I dont kill them because I like watching them slowly blow every stealth and dodge they have before I even touch them

I still play D/D on SPvP with two sword-sized-daggers simply because it looks cool.

(despite knowing that D/P is a hundred times more effective)
