Constructive ideas list 1/10/15
Mate this has been done to death. Quite frankly people are sick of putting the effort in just to have it ignored.
i think its time to make a post so constructive that the devs just print screen and use it as a cheat sheet for the next balance pass
we will do this in three sections 1.Needed Buffs, 2.Bug Fixs, 3.Needed Nurfs (i add this last one to keep it fair and balanced) all constructive ideas will be edited into this original post and given credit. try and keep your ideas in the same format im using to make my life easyer
for example
Needed Buffs
Cloaked in Shadow
Gaining stealth blinds nearby foes. Release a blinding powder when you take falling damage, and take less damage from falling.
Master of shadows
Stealth skills removed reveal debuff. Release a blinding powder when you take falling damage, and take less damage from falling. 25 second internal cool down
what do you gain?
a counter to anti stealth on a 25 ICD which is the same cooldown as
engineers Analyze 25s ICD
it would be very easy to balance as well just increase or decrease the cool down
how it works
1st off if you have revealed using a stealth skill WILL NOT make you go invis it will just remove the debuff so your need to use a second skill to invis
2nd this promotes counter play to reveal for the thief but it will also cost the thief precious cool downs or double the initiative cost E.G. using cloak and dagger would be 12 initiative
3rd as its on a 25s cooldown if your hit by 1 revealed such as a stealth trap which you then clean and then a ranger uses sic em (or two players reveal you) you will have the revealed debuff and will not be able to remove it
So lets begin
Needed Buffs
Idea 1
pistol should have its ranged increased baseline just like they did with every other weapon in game
Idea 2
Ankle Shots
Critical hits with pistols and harpoon guns have a chance to cripple foes. Pistol and harpoon attacks deal increased damage to crippled foes.
Ankle Shots
all pistol and harpoon skills now pierce and do 1 stack of bleed
Why this?
dps pistol uses will take this for the piercing, condi uses will take this for the bleed and yes that means unload will do 8 stacks of bleed opening up thief to celestial builds
Idea 3
Potent Poison
Increased poison duration 33%. Poison deals increased damage 10%.
Potent Poison
Increased poison duration and damage by 15% immobilizes now inflict poison
Why this?
this would mean body shot on pistol now does poisens as well as having amazing synergy with the trait
Panic Strike “Striking a foe that is below the health threshold immobilizes them.”
Bug Fixs
Bug 1
scorpion wire is bugged just like the engineers Magnet Pull was which has now been fixed but not scop wire also i believe scorp wire should be unblockable just like the engineers skill
3.Needed Nurfs
all constructive ideas or changes even to the ideas listed above will be read and even edited into this post
