So I’ve been seeing a lot of core specs becoming viable with the use of the DD traitline. Is this really necessary? To make our core specs viable, we need the DD traitline, buy the xpack, just so we can play certain playstyles that USED to be perfectly viable?

I don’t see how this is right. Don’t get me wrong, I see how this is kind of necessary(break it and offer it in a new package, it’s good for business) but I can’t help but feel.. bad, about it.

I’m not looking to discuss the expansion pack itself, that is well besides the point. I’m looking to discuss how conditioned the Core specs are by the Elite spec.

Thoughts?

The joke is, from my experience so far, in pvp meta dp build >>>>>>> any drd build. It is just too selfish and unreliable to compete with dp in conquest.

My concern isn’t with D/P alone. I see S/D and S/P becoming viable with the DD traitline. Those who do not want to pick up the DD traitline or can’t even buy the XPack, are they forced down to playing the “meta” weaponset/build just because ANet used viability/non-viability in their favor as a way to draw potential customers not happy with their current play?
Before showing off all the “amazing content” they should work on fixing and balancing what is in the CURRENT game.
All I’ve seen is them hype up the xpack, and when it comes to the thief, I see them hyping it using things that should already be in the game – viability.

Why wouldn’t they? They are company and any company is there to make profit. Fairness has no place in business.
