I’ve been playing for a little under a year now, and my favorite profession so far is Thief. I’ve been using a Zerk build with full exotic for a while now, and have decided to start working for Ascended gear.

That said, I also want to be less squishy, so I put this together because making Ascended gear is gonna take a while and I don’t want to make it and then discover that what I made is crap.

This is for PvE, right?

And some WvW roaming. Not for zerg fighting or for sPvP, those require different builds.

Totally unviable for WvW roaming unless you plan to gank upleveleds. Any FotM build would totally destroy you.

I wouldnt say its horrible, but id definitely tweak it a bit into something like this

Signet of malice is pretty bad for anything but PVE. You also have no stun breaks or condi clear other than sword #2. This way you get pain response at 75% HP and shadow step. That said Sw/p isn’t very good for WvW roaming. You’re much better off with D/P SA

Its not the best at any particular thing but you can beat people with it in wvw still probably. Id probably use withdraw over malic.
