Hi all,
I stopped playing about a year ago,
just wanted to know what the state of thief is right now on the game,
is it still viable on pvp at least as a roamer?
Is it viable at all on pve like for dungeons/raids?
Same question for wvw

Viable yes, optimal no. Practical… ehhhh. It really isn’t good at much beyond decap and +1 in sPvP in unranked play. At the higher levels in sPvP it gets shredded. PvE, works fine but isn’t particularly useful in raids. WvW, scouting and +1 fights are its bread and butter. Kinda sucks at everything else.
