D/D concerns after patch
I don’t even play thief and I can tell you’re a noob.
Alright I’m not even going to get technical since I agree with Soilder although on a less offensive term: DD without the blind on stealth is much easier to fight than a DP. And just because they are invisible doesnt mean you cant hurt them! And since you are fully aware that when you turn your back, they backstab you, this should tell you they are going for your back. Can you tell exactly where they are? No, Can you have a very good idea of where they are? Absolutely.
I’m not honestly not sure if you’re trolling or not. I am more than happy to give you some proper advice if you’re not, but some of the things that you just said sound pretty sarcastic/trolly. :S
all is vain
Axe auto attack to half => eviscerate
Pindown => Combustive Shot => Arcing Shot
Sword Auto => Shield Bash => Final Thrust
in addition to stunlocking

You have problem to kill a thief
He have problem to escape from you
Who need nerf?
What Maugetarr and TsukiNoEi said. Perhaps you are not using one of the cheesier builds for warrior out there that can cripple and stunlock and aoe condition and immobilize with their rotations. Not to mention the ease of burst fleeing on par or even better than Eles right now (all the charge/rush movement on certain weapons and utilities and/or invulnerable shield and endure pain chaining = incredible escape from a thief’s reach no matter what swiftness boons and heartseeking gap-chasing spamming they can do).
I think you need to rethink your weapons and/or build and gear, if you are having serious problems. A stealthed thief is not an invulnerable thief from damage, nor are they invulnerable from aoe condition dots and crowd control effects.
Guys guys, he’s clearly trolling.
I’m surprised you didn’t see that.
nice troll post.
yes crazy reaction times indeed
In case you were serious…
1. A thief is not invulnerable nor does it magically disappear. Keep attacking.
2. Stealth lasts 3~4 seconds, at which point a backstab is going to be coming (block it).
3. A thief with D/D or D/P usually runs ONE stunbreaker. Make use of that fact.
I personally use a Sword/Shield, I shield to eat the initial burst then continue with a shield stun. The thief usually breaks the stun in fear of high damage that I might do (even though I do not with a Sword/Shield) at which point it is vulnerable. Then I swap to hammer, smack the thief around and kill it in 3~4 hits, and in case it might refuge just keep #4 to push him out…
