D/P - Engagement and Avoidance Build w/ Support
Looks good. Similar to what I run with.
Thoughts:
- Haste never seems immediately useful in a build like this. I don’t think BP + HS stealth combos have much synergy with it.
- Traits look good. Not the same as mine but that’s fine, you have gone for a more stealth-focused build.
- Lacks condition removal outside of HiS.

Yeah I was a little worried about condition removal myself. Haste doubles as a stun-breaker. Was considering swapping Haste for Shadow Step for more condition removal.
Your build link isn’t working though. Eager to see it.
Not sure why I can’t edit the post – try here: http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fYAQNAoaVlUmaO3dy9E95Ex2jeuTe6pgsjtTBXtKA;TsAA2CnoqxUjoGbNuak1swYgxECA
Shadow Step is nice for the cond remove & stun break, as you’re also missing the latter.
i run a 10/30/30/0/0 build with D/P myself.
if i really want to kill someone i rely on BP>HS>BS
but i spend a good bit of time doing more then trying to burst someone down
i take critical haste and weapon sigil of rage and dont take the haste skill.
why? i actually find it procs quite often, and i dont use it for BP>HS>BS, i use it…for autoattack. cant tell you how many times ive had someone charge me, i drop BP, they whif, i auto, one of those kick in, and they melt.
the key is to not focus all your time on the BP>HS>BS but do what pistol offhand does best, screw with everyone.
my skills i run the same heal, but then i have shadow refuge, smoke screen (screws ranged so well) and shadowstep along with daggerstorm. shadowsteps return effect acts as more removal for conditions as well
its honestly, a amazing build for damage when you need it, and group play harrassment. i love it, i used to do double dagger, my avg glory gain went up by 100 (usualy 200+) so long as my group is competitive (I.E. not getting steamrolled)

Black Powder spam is very effective. You can solo Supply Camps with it, and with good positioning, deny players damage when fighting on top of keep/tower walls due to their narrow width.
In a sPvP context, it’s also useful for denying stomps against allies, and/or denying enemies damage when they’re on a cap point (and forcing them off). You can also reduce the risk when soloing Svanir/Chieftain.
PS: Note that the BP Blind is both targeted (ranged) and PBAoE. The projectile will apply blind to the target; and the field will spawn at your feet. Can deny an approaching enemy some burst if you’re engaged in melee with another.

I’d like to point out that having good offensive stats and using daggerstorm will also pretty much accomplish this, killing everything but the veteran.

Yeah, I often swap between TG & DS as my elite – as you say, DS is the best for camps/etc.
Alright so here is my updated build
I added in sigils and switched a couple of skills.
That being said; what do you think about engaging with steal for this build? Then you can roll into whatever follow up chain you wish.

still reads as bad link
imo sigils are not needed for D/P tho the /P is about group interference and support, pick skills that support that imo. tho also imo shadowstep is required by almost any build >.<
