Guild Wars 2

Hey guys
So I want to get back into roaming, either with my D/P Thief or my Medi Guard, so I’m updating my builds.
So I want to update my Thief build. I’m used to play the classic 2/6/0/0/6 in sPvP, is that transferable to roaming? If so I’m thinking of running this:

If not, I heard that 2/0/6/0/6 is what is really optimal for roaming in Thief. I looked at MetaBattle and I refuse to run 0/6/6/2/0. Steal traited is really strong in my opinion to lose, beside I already think 2/0/6/0/6 is kitteneese for Direct damage with Thief.
Do you have any suggestions to go with 2/0/6/0/6? My doubt is in the armor pieces, should I go Valkyrie or Cavalier? I have the Defensive Guard stacks, what do you guys think is enough HP for the Thief when roaming?

-Full Zerker Armor/Trinkets
-Rune of The Pack
-Shortbow with sigil of air and bloodlust
-d/p with sigil of air and fire
-Double WvW stacks
-Mango Pie

The damage is still high, my hp is max buffed at 14.7k

It’s not optimal really, but I really enjoy 5/0/0/3/6 regardless of game mode. It works with both D/D and D/P.

Roam with what you like.

Well after some testing I discovered some things
2/6/0/0/6 lacks survivability
2/0/6/0/6 lacks the burst I’m used to but gain in utility, but then again, if I’m alone romaing I don’t need that utility that much

So I decided to go 0/6/6/2/0. I didn’t want it that much but after going back to WvW I see that I can’t just use the same things I used in sPvP, are entirely different styles of PvP with different needs in terms of build. And since I’m not that used to Thief yet again this is a good start. I’m going with this:

The build is nice because I can go between 0/6/6/2/0 for solo play and 2/0/6/0/6 for team play with losing much. Some damage and HP but for HP I have the stacks, and the damage loss might not be that significant since that spec will only be used for small group play

6/0/2/0/6 is pretty kitten good for roaming and spvp.

Same build here(50036), but I optimize more towards raw power and survivability so I pick up a combination of Zerker/Valk/Soldier armor pieces. Not to mention, it is a budget build.

That’s pretty similar. I have some soldier pieces on one of my other thieves, but they run with traveller’s runes . I tried vamp runes once and they just didn’t fit my playstyle. I also run SB for the mobility because I run D/D more often than D/P, which is why my traits revolve around high vigor uptime as well. It’s good to see someone else using 50036 though!
