Guild Wars 2

Hello folks!

I’ve been playing around with a few builds as I just hit 80 and wasn’t really sure what works best for WvW and my style. I was going with a D/D 0/30/30/10 build that appears rather popular but really liked the distance closer of the D/P. As I tend to go for the solo “assassin” and often take on more than 1 person at a time, does this build below look effective?

I’m really trying to figure out if the D/D is better overall than the D/P.

D/P WvW Build

I run a build almost identical to this one, but I use all berserker gear and fire sigil instead of air. I find with the blind spamming I don’t need to use valk or knights gear. I also run shadow step instead of signet of shadows and take the 50% movement speed in stealth. Overall I think it’s the best build for 1v1 or small group play.

Thanks for the help! I really enjoy the D/D but it’s somewhat of a pain at times. I’m still learning how to correctly use shadowstep as I leveled as a condition Thief and never had much use for it.

That’s build yishis ran after 4s revealed. It works in wvw and you can stay alive forever in spvp, but the damage sucks.

What would you suggest as a balanced approach that provides decent survivability and better damage?
