While trying to convince someone to try this game, I was asked what Thief sPvP looked like. This was my response:

Would anyone be interested in seeing some similar stuff in the future? I’m mulling over the idea of making something a bit longer in the coming weeks once I get a bit of practice in. (actually just returning to the game, but I used to play thief constantly)

From what I’ve seen and experienced so far, I’m not quite convinced that D/P isn’t viable yet. It’s a far from forgiving play-style, probably now more than ever, but I feel like that’s how a roaming class really needs to be.

It sucks that other builds got completely robbed, but, back when I originally played, it seemed like a lot of said builds that people are now griping about were considered very cheesy. :/

…But hey, if I’m wrong I’m pretty sure I still remember how to play necro. :P

That’s just plain not true.

Oh, we’re still viable, just only as d/d or d/p burst. Non burst bui;lds really just can’t hack it.
