D/P or S/D: Which play style do you enjoy?

Currently these two weapon combinations are seeing the most use in PvP/WvW. So I ask all my fellow thieves, which play style of the two do you prefer the most? I’m not asking what you think is most effective when it comes to killing/escaping, but which do you have more fun playing. Personally, S/D is more enjoyable. All the shadowstepping, evades, and boon thievery is pure fun. It’s one thing to toy with a guy with D/P making him freak out over where you are (or if you’re even still there), but the frustration of not even being able to hit the guy you clearly see in front of you (oh he’s over there now, nope right in right in fro.. nope behind me) always puts a big smile on my face as a thief.

I guess D/P has a bad name associated to it since all the perma stealth trolls use it but it does have a lot going for it.

Anyways, I loved S/D ever since first using it and it’s just a ton of fun killing anyone at roughly the same speed regardless if they’re bunker or not.

All is vain.

I enjoy D/D and S/D, to hell with D/P, stupidly overrated, though I admit that it is a weapon set at which all Thief weapon sets should be built to equal in terms of synergy.

Since I traited it, i like the Arrow Cart very much. Sometimes the Ballista too.

Nah, srsly. It is X/D for me. Often Running D/D + S/D. I know it would synergize better w/ D/P, but I like to have them pelotas.

I use both s/d and d/p, works for me.

why not having both?

Thief might not be as strong as last year
but they’re a lot stronger
than they will be next year!

I like CnD a lot, so I choose S/D.

The synergy of skills in an S/D set is better than that in D/P set — better as in, it compliments my playstyle very well.

Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.
