[Blinding Powder] now interrupt [Dagger Storm].

Why Anet?

I play 95% wvw and it worked so well taking camps or when we roaming, blinding the melee guys while reflecting the casters…..and now its broken

I was one of those guys that just kept looking past all the nerfs on thief (1506hours/3119 total hours)… but now i had it.

For me it makes perfect sense… If you use blinding powder to save your butt but DS keeps going you will get revealed and probably killed.

Why not run offhand pistol and drop Black Powder and dagger storm in the smoke field for combo blinding bolts?

Never tried that before so I’m not bothered. I do miss the old Shadow Refuge Invisible Dagger Storm from back in the good old days though. XD

It’s funny though how they pay attention to pointless things like that and never fix the major Thief bugs that hurt us though. Only bugs that benefit us are fixed. :o

What about when Last Refuge procs while using Dagger Storm?

Also, where’s the source? Or was it another Ninja patch at some point?

you should consider dropping black powder/smokescreen instead. far, far more effective at doing what you want.

blinding powder should interrupt any ongoing skill, to prevent accidentally breaking out of stealth.

… And where does this come from?
Thieves CAN kill anything. They lose to some specs IF, and only IF, they are forced to fight in narrow spaces (pvp points).
With enough space to kite (and a decent build) , a thief CAN win against anything aside from maybe a DD Ele.
