Runes of the Daredevil – Get a 100% crit after your dodgeroll.

You can do neat things like:

Black Powder – Dodge – Steal/Infiltrator – Backstab.

Bound really helps with saving initiative and keeping your dmg modifier from trickery high.

Similar stuff with Vault.

You have a ton of interupts that deal 2k+ dmg thanks to pulmonary effect.

If you are having a hard time with conditions just switch over to escapists absolution.

Hits really really hard.

I’m thinking of going Staff- Pistol/Dagger with Dash though because of the sheer value in Dash compared to the other 2…

I’ve been running something similar with my thief, but focused more towards Dash instead of bound. I’ll have to try out your combo though, sounds potentially spiky in damage which sparks my interests a bit.

Signet of Agility is an interesting choice, not at all flawed but something I usually wouldn’t take. I’ll try it out a bit myself and see if I like it.

Main thing this build lacks compared to a dash variant is speed, you have to rely on steal to give you movement speed. However in terms of chasing this build can do that just fine.

I’d personally use Air/Fire on D/P just to get a higher burst on that backstab, which on that topic makes me wonder if Assassin’s Signet would aid in this build.

Lots of questions which I shall be delving into as I try it out with your flavor.

You can also use a sigil of intelligence on staff … so you can basi – black powder – bound dodge – infil/steal – backstab – weapon swap – vault.

And if you really have alot of troubles with condis you can swap out pulmonary for escapists. Your main dmg stays the same.

The mobility is not that great anymore. but you can still carry shortbow instead of staff. Your big hitter will just be backstab. and it is not so initiative hungry as staff vault.

More ini for interupts.

I tried both. Works both fine.

What i like the most is that it hits harder than maurauder while giving you more health as a buffer.

Assasins signet is great but it has not much utility. Tried that too.

Damage will be lower but the condi remove and ini and health gain + dmg reduction from steal, black powder + bound dodge will allow me to stay in a fight even if i get condi bombed.

Still in the testing phase though (Runes of Daredevil not brawler but closest stat-wise)

What makes or breaks that build is the Rune of the Daredevil.
