[Daredevil] Weakening Strikes?
atm its just weakness which reduce dmg by 50% when attack is negated. also cannot crit

So weakness is a pretty nice condi?
Weakness is very underrated. For thieves that have to be up close and personal, it can be a big part of survival in those close fights.

for thieves weakness is awesome
Endurance regeneration decreased by 50%. 50% of hits are Glancing Blows (50% damage).
Just the fact the opponent can’t crit under this condition makes it totally worth traiting. Plus! weakening strikes makes them do 10% less damage to you. Best trait in that tier, imo.

That’s Weakness itself. The tooltip does say “Weakened enemies deal less damage to you” rather than “Weakened enemies deal less damage to you 50% of the time”.
It does indeed imply that the trait lowers enemy damage in general while they’re under the effects of Weakness.
It was supposed to be 10% more reduction according to Karl.

Depends on the build. Havoc Mastery is pretty impressive. With S/P we run Havoc Mastery since we play the Basilisk Venom->Infitrators Strike->Stone->Pulmonary Impact->Pistol Whip->Steal->Daze->Pulmonary Impact->Mug->Pistol Whip again combo. If they don’t have two stuns break or an Invuln this is a sure fire kill even against hardened opponents before they know what hit them.
If that combo fails to land we reset usually with Infiltrators Return. Gimmicky as hell but works most of the time.

I’m still the standard thief mindset of get in, do a kitten ton of damage, and gtfo. So I never really could get into the pistol whip where it rooted you in place. With the staff, I can run in circles around my opponent while doing all the damage and if things get sketchy, dash away and pop ’em with the SB. Plus, I love the gank feel of using Thieves Guild. :P

i didnt know weakness could do that, seem like a nice condition. I was looking at that trait but never really understood weakness. If they cant crit you and reduce damage seem like good for survival
Weakness is often very underrated/underestimated. It’s a very strong condition and the reduction % is always the same. Lotus poison is actually one of the reasons I liked my old DD venom build a lot and I could 1v1 anyone and shrug off all those heavy hits. But now I don’t need it anymoar.
BTW you should see Reaper now… Weakness AOE Spam + Chilled enemies do less DMG + Minions lower dmg by 50% makes them so insanely tanky. ;x Crazyness.
