Dead Eye Dunwell buff because of thieves
its longer than 5 seconds, the funny thing is the buff just made it take us longer to kill him, not any harder.
If they buff him into oblivion people will find the next easiest and it will get plastered everywhere.
Doesn’t even take longer for me. Only difference is I have to go with 4 gambits instead of 5. Blind on the quaggan is too unreliable to farm with him up.

How fast do you kill it? Mind show link with build and gear and skills?
Off the top of my head, my gear and build:
Open up shadow shot, turn sideways and drop ambush trap, then BP and then steal. Damage with 1 spam. Keep BP on him at all times, and when he ports SS to him and BP again asap to avoid the snipe. HS to finish him off when he’s low. He should be dead before a 2nd port.
I’ll usually kill him with 6-10s left on ambush trap CD. You can TG instead of ambush when its up for even faster kills, but don’t use both at the same time or you’ll be waiting on the ambush CD for the next go.
If I get an empty arena and really focus I can still pull ~20g/hr. Obviously dying or having to share an arena can drop that quite a lot.

bragging how easy is to kill him in under 5 seconds…
took my zerker ranger 7 1/2 second to maul him down before, and, after the “nerf”…. don’t feel so proud of yourselves.

Zerker ranger? I must be playing my ranger wrong—I have all zerker gear fitted with runes of the thief, and all exotic earrings/rings and all that and I still get beat pretty hard—-cant even do that much damage with my short bow/bow

you use the wrong build, pure zerker doesnt cut it. Go to ranger forums, search for “Beast Cannon”

Dunno bout thieves, but the way i did it, was just spamming CC’s and using quickness. worked like a charm
EDIT: way i would do it on my thief (mind you, its just level 18)
D/P, D/D. Use steal to get close, trait for stun/daze on steal. Basilisk Venom for more stuns, haste. Then let it rip.
Steal>blackpowder>basilisk venom>haste>swap to D/D>DD #3>backstab>C&D>backstab then spam auto attacks for the rest.
Use Celestial and zerker mix for the highest possible crit damage (Celestial head, torso and legs offer 3% more crit damage then normal zerker. Weapons offer 2%. Every bit helps)
In theory, this should give you the brute power to just burst him down.

The problem with relying on haste and BV (or QZ/RaO on ranger) to kill him is that you rely on long CD utilities that you will have to wait on after each fight. The build I posted above does it a bit slower but has zero downtime between fights. It’s more efficient for a long farm.
