Anyone else hoping the new thief specialization will be the return of the spellcasting assassin?

With the possibility that the thief will get a staff i got really excited at this possibility but am aware it’s probably more likely to be a monk(melee) style of play.

It was one of my favorite builds things about the assassin and would play my thief alot more if it makes a return.

Return the Cassassin!

Assassacaster was the term most used lol

But that build was fun in gw1
