Shadow Arts trait: Master of Deception trait is a bit off in it’s tool tip. As it says: Deception Skills recharge 20% faster

One would think that 20% of 60(original recharge time) would be 12. So recharge time would be dropped down to 12secs. But instead it is dropped a mere 48 seconds. Please correct me if I am wrong, but does something seem a little off here. Am I misreading the blatant tool tip.

20% of 60 seconds is 12 seconds.

The tooltip says that it recharges 20% faster (not “has 20% of its original CD”; 20% faster means that the trait takes away 20% of the recharge), meaning that it charges at a rate of 1-.2 = .8.

60 minus 12 is 48.

The new CD is 48 seconds.

20% faster means 20% less cooldown time…20% of 60 is 12, so 12 seconds off..Dropping it to 48.

Seriously?

In comparison, in order to have the recharge time of 60s skill dropped to 12s, the trait would need to be “skill recharges 80% faster”.

I sure would take a Shadow Refuge giving 14s stealth every 12s :o
