Dem post history…I rly dont get it. You keep coming here, telling us our class sucks and we should all stop playing. Then you come and ask if you should main thief…and now youre back to deleting thieves?
Some time ago I requested for all your unconstructive posts across the thief forum to be removed due to toxivity and waste of space. Unfortunately only the one I directly reported got deleted.
But could you please do us a favour:
Either try being constructive and participate to the community and this forum, or keep your hate to yourself. I respect your opinion, but that does not mean, that you have to keep telling us about it. We got the point by now…

kitten no, I love my thief and am riding to Legendary on it in PvP.

My guild’s also talking about how useful a venom share thief should be on the Matthias fight since it has strong mobility, self condi clear, and great breakbar contribution for sacrifices.

And even if it’s not the most OP profession in the game, it’s certainly the most fun to play.

OP secretly gets destroyed by thieves and wants them all gone. Seriously, none of your posts indicate you actually play or care about thief. They all just encourage people to either stop playing or delete their thieves, which indicates alternative motivation.

If you’re really at the point to where you need to spam forums with angsty posts like this, maybe you should take a break from the computer and either find someone you love or at least talk through your issues with someone who will listen.

Sure, delete your thief if you want OP. Then go kicking yourself when a really great bug fix or balance fix that might one day happen.

In the meantime, I’m enjoying all five of my thieves, each for a different reason.

Thief is awesome. Most fun class to play imo

My hate towards ArenaNet is not directed at my Thieves (I have 3). I am more than likely favor to delete ArenaNet and have some other developer fix GW2 than ever deleting my Thieves. Thieves are not the problem — ArenaNet is.

I absolutely love Daredevil. I think it was one of the more interesting and well designed Elite Specializations. I think it did a lot for thief.

But that is relative. What I think the actual issues with it are that it did so much that it made buying HoT to use it in builds feel like a requirement and despite how much it did, the other elite specializations just did more and overshadowed it.

In PvP, there is only 5 spots on a team among 9 professions. 4 of them are going to end up without chairs when the music stop.

In PvE, however, I love it and it was the only thing keeping me playing the game toward the end.

Some people did delete thieves when HoT came out. We even had thief funeral during HoT beta (many players came to it). You think Anet cared? Thing turned out as bad as we predicted. Season 1: thief is garbage. Season 2: hardly any better. This company doesn’t want this class but they can’t completely delete it.

my main was thief til they removed ricochet. I hate thief as melee. So i guess my thief is in moth balls til Ricochet comes back if ever.

Why? do you think Anet cares how many thieves are running around? Pretty sure they don’t have a quota they have to fill or anything.
