Playing a Thief was always fun for me.

Then things happened.

Now, its not so much fun.

Could a Dev who is working on things for the Thief profession give us a “State of the Thief” address?

I’m not looking for promises or hard dates or anything like that. Just info on what is being looked at as far as bugs, or what fixes may be being tested. Maybe what things are being considered/looked at for some love?(like getting Ricochet back in the P/P functionality)

Again, no promises or release dates…just info.

I know people will chime in here about “they won’t do it”, “someone will take something they say and use it as ‘they promised’”, etc.

But you never know until you ask, and frame the quesiton/request as someting that just might be attainable.

Yet again…I am not looking for hard dates or promises of ANYTHING. Only perhaps what is on the table, what is being tested for adding in/modifying/fixing a bug that will obviously be released “when its ready”. Obviously there needs to be some things kept as a surprise…but any info that is shared with us, the Thief players, makes us happy.

It would be great to get one of these for every Profession…but I’ll take what I can get…so I thought I would ask about the Thief.

I would really like to know what things anet sees as problematic and shortcoming.
I’m not looking looking for a novel, it could be simple things like,

Issue: struggles with active defenses.
Problem: to high burst damage on backstab creating one shots.
Bug: Bound dodge appears as regular roll to opponet.

It’d be nice because then we the base could have a conversation and compare anets issues/goals with player ones.

Another +1.

Any line to open communication between players and Devs is great, especially when it isn’t a bashing going on.
